Pending spousal sponsorship application, wife has tourist visa.Can she visit me?

I married my filipina fiancee and we just sent her sponsorship application. She wants to come to canada to visit me for my birthday. Fortunately, she already has a tourist visa, which was issued before we got married. She's been to canada and returned to the Philippines 3 times as a tourist. I have 2 questions.

1. Will her visiting me affect her sponsorship application (becomes denied)?
2. Will she be denied entry into canada because of the application currently being processed?
