Pending review by an officer

Hi everyone!
Query about an Outland Application
Submitted on: January 16, 2025
AOR: January 29, 2025
Biometric and BG showing In Progress in PA tracker but no mail or communication received.
Sponsor Eligibility showing In Progress


The sponsor got this below mail after 2 weeks of receiving the AOR:
"This is to acknowledge receipt of your sponsorship application and to advise that your file is presently pending review by an officer."
Since then no update further.
Can anyone kindly give us some idea why "file is presently pending review by an officer".?

They thought sending you a vague email would be more reassuring than no letter at all.

Apparently not.
