Hello everyone. Just a question regarding being charged with ongoing PR application.
If one, as an ongoing permanent residency applicant, is accused of a criminal offense (outside of Canada) by someone else but the prosecutor has neither started to handle the case nor filed/issued/authorized any charges against him, is he considered being charged and therefore should inform IRCC about the case immediately? No arrest, custody, or conviction. The case was handled by a police who thought that it was very likely that the case would be dropped by the prosecutor as the nature of the case is more of a commercial dispute rather than a criminal offense.
