The Prince Edwards Island (PEI) Express Entry Nomination Program is for skilled workers who want to work and live in Prince Edward Island. This category enables the PEI PNP to nominate individuals that are in Citizenship and Immigration Canada's Express Entry pool and who have the education, skilled work experience, language ability and other factors to help them to successfully establish and integrate into PEI labour market and communities.
The PEI PNP is now accepting applications to the PEI Express Entry Category.

I got this email from PEI Immigration Office today. I am posting this after 1 and a half hour going through their list of IT jobs provided and prepare my CV.

Good Morning,

Thank you for your interest in the PEI Express Entry stream. We are contacting individuals that have indicated they have experience in the Information Technology sector. There are a number of IT companies in PEI that are looking for skilled individuals to fill current vacancies. Therefore, we are reaching out to those that have expressed interest in being nominated by the Province, as connectivity to the local labour market assists greatly in the selection process.

Attached you will find 30 positions within the IT sector on PEI. If you believe you have the necessary education and/or work experience to qualify I ask that you submit your resume/CV for the applicable position(s). Please ensure when providing your resume/CV that you clearly identify in the email the position(s) you wish to apply for by simply indicating the number stated on the posting.

By providing your resume/CV you are allowing our office to distribute to PEI IT companies. Companies will contact those individuals they are interested in directly. Our office will not be able to provide updates or communication on the review or hiring process.

I received the similiar email yesterday. Have sent them my updated resume. However, I got a chance to talk to a fellow in another group who has already received the nomination last month. He mentioned they nominated him straight away no such job posting email just they asked please fill up the formal application. I just wonder what is this email about and does it really mean?

My wife received the same email as Hogiamisan, with the 30 IT vacancies. Her NOC is 2175.

We are wondering if these companies may already have an open LMIA issued waiting for the right candidate.

It seems a good iniative from PEI immigration officers. If you could get a job there and than receive nomination your chances of successfully settling in the province increases dramatically.

Lets see if someone here will be selected for one of these positions available.

I've research PEI in the net it seems the province is purely rural. Do u think IT jobs their is good?
Likewise, please share your attached email you provided for those who are responded in the email. I think everybody's interested on that.

For now, I haven't send the EOI I'm still searching if IT jobs their is GOOD.

I totally agreed with your comment. Our immigration stories should be started to tell by job. Yes, It's all about job. I am very scary to think about landing there and spending out all of our saving money then looking for way to go back home.

As being said, I am very impressed with this idea from PEI. They think for our future.
