Peace Bond and applying for Canadian Citizenship

Hello Friends

My citizenship application is due in the mid of april, dont know what the new bill bring to us
As said, I am applying for the canadian citizenship and I have a peace bond in effect on demostci voilence case with my spouse

I know that i could still apply for the citizenship but should I mention this peace bond on the citizenship application? if yes, where? what documents to attached?

Please let me know if any one has the same experience

Hi there,

I'm in the same situation, my peace bone expired in 2012 but it will show up on the background check? What to do? Is that a problem? Please help

Hi Folks

Peace Bond is not a problem in applying for Citizenship, according to my opinion peace bond is an agreement that ask you agree with Crown that you will live with good behaviour and is not a probation.
