Has anyone taken the e-Mitra route for the PCC?
I checked with local police station in Jaipur that whether I have to go to PSK for the same or is it possible by some other way. They asked me to get the PCC form filled up for me and my wife with all supporting documents (since my current address is different from address in passport). The fee that I have to submit at e-Mitra is Rs 300 per person.
According to the police guys, once this form is submitted they will get the notification to do the verification. Post which they will upload the records in their database. Once this is done, I will be issued the PCC certificate from any e-Mitra office again.
I have been hearing from many people the hassle and time PSK is taking to complete this. The process above explained by the police here looks simple and less time consuming.
