Hi there,

When I came to Canada I was 17 years old after one year I turned 18. Therefore, will I need to provide PCC from my home country? Because I was minor at that time for a year. And in document checklist for PNP it says : You must included police certificate from each country where you have spent more than 6 or more months in a row since the age of 18.

Also the portal for Express entry says: You don’t need to give us police certificates for any period of time before you were 18 years old or for time spent in Canada.

The PCC rules must be same for all stream I guess even if it is PNP.

Therefore will I require PCC from home country or not. Or just from Canada.

Thank You.

There are multiple question on this, did you never visit your parents home country after turning 18 or ever leave Canada etc..? Depending on some of these you might need a PCC. However If you never did, the book answer is you might not need a PCC.
However a question like yours is not a very common one in these forums and we might not have many who have experienced this. PCCs don't cost a lot the best bet is you better apply for one that way the VO can't delay asking ADR to reject applications etc..

technically you will not need PCC, but if you are able to get one, then get it. it won't hurt and may avoid any delay in the process.
