Good Morning to All,

Thanks for this great forum for trusted and comprehensive information.

My question is in relation to police certificate format.

I was born in Lahore and lived there until 2005. Since then I have been abroad and visited Pakistan to visit family. My last visit was in 2011.

I have got a PCC that says that I lived in Lahore from 2001 (when I turned 18) to 2011 (my last visit to Pakistan) and during this period I do not have any adverse complains and records.

Is this ok pcc or do I have to get a pcc that mentions exactly the dates (see below) that I actually lived in Pakistan? Because from 2001 to 2011, I only visited Pakistan for some short periods.

My timeline is

2005- left Pakistan

2006 – went to Pakistan for 2 months

2008 – went to Pakistan for 2 months

2011 – went to Pakistan for 5 months

Since it includes 2001 to 2011, this should be fine. It would've been a problem if it left out any period of your stay in pakistan i believe.

My question is regarding PCC .

I have lived in Pakistan from birth till Oct 2012 and then I moved to the USA along with my husband where I lived till Oct 2016 now I am again residing in Pakistan. While residing in the USA I visited Pakistan for 4 months in 2014.

Do I have to obtain PCC of Pakistan for the time I was visiting Pakistan for 4 months while residing in the USA?

Time Line:

Birth - Oct 2012 (Lived in Pakistan)

May 2014 - Aug 2014 ( Visited Pakistan for Vacation) ?????

Oct 2016 - Till Now (Living in Pakistan)

Your help in this regard would be highly appreciated!

My wife's parents home is in Rawalpindi and I live in Lahore. We have submitted 2 PCC for Lahore and Pindi for her. but both are "to date". as in the parents home is "since Birth to date" and Lahore is from the day we got married and moved to Lahore (27-03-2015) to date. Is it ok ?

For your Current country of residence you can get the PCC from the date you turned 18 to current date. If they don't provide as such then you have to mention all the dates you were in the country, to be on the safer side.

It should be okay for your country of residence. You need from 18th birthday to date, so from birth should be fine.
