I have question regarding to document submission:

1. Police Certificate (India)

I was not able to get medical exam date almost 30 days after my ITA due to doctors on vacation in my city and one had an accident (the one who I booked for my exam - unfortunate). I believe for medical exam passport is mandatory so in good faith I hold back for my PCC. Meantime my father got PCC from local district police station in India. Is it okay or do I have to mandatory get PCC from Indian Embassy as I am presently in Canada.

Only reason for clarification is some members feel I need it from consulate and some say it's okay....

Please advice any of members who got PCC from India directly please share..

Can you mention the language written in the pcc? Does it mention city or dates? Also who has signed it?

It is in english language. It is Police Verification Certificate it has all details such as email, telephone no, Fax No - seal,signed by supt. of police of the district also includes my personal details and also states when did i leave the country last (date of last visit)

I think that should be fine. I know people who were in Canada and got PR provided PCC from indian local police. I have myself applied with local police PCC.

Hi Pk...

Thank you for the response. Just to confirm you applied with Indian PCC in Express Entry. Just being extra careful as PCC is one of the most prominent reasons for rejection. If we are in the same boat then I guess I have nothing much to be worry about. :D

Yes, I have given Indian local PCC for EE though I am in Canada.

One more question for you? Did you submit PCC for Canada along with PCC from India in your express entry application?
