PCC From Punjab or Hyderabad or Both

Hi Everyone,


I am in the process of collecting documents for Invitation To Apply for Canadian PR.

Facts about me :I have my permanent address in Punjab but I am living in Hyderabad,Telangana (i.e. resident of other states as per the below definition) since May,2016:

As per CIC India website,for Police Clearance Certificate :

If you live in India


For residents of Punjab: You can apply to your local Senior Superintendent of Police, or the senior ranking police official at the police station in your district.

For residents of Delhi: You can apply at your local district police station or online on the Delhi Police website. The website will list what information and documents you need. If you apply online, your certificate will be returned to you electronically.

For residents of other states: You can apply at your local district police station.

For all residents of India: You can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport office on the Passport India website. The website will list what information and documents you need.

1)Should I apply for the PCC from:

-Punjab's police from beginning till May 2016.

and

-May 2016 from Hyderabad ,Telangana Police

So this basically covers all the time till present date.(as per my understanding)

OR


Should I apply a PCC from passport India website, which asks for, both my present and permanent address ,both? And that is sufficient?


Pls advise.
