PCC from Local District Police Station

Hi Guys ,

I want to apply for my PCC but BLS is taking 6-8 weeks of Processing time. Is it reliable and accepted by CIC to do PCC from local district Police station ( India ) ?

Have anyone's PCC got accepted from Local District Police Station ?
