Hello All,
I am a non Indian and lived in India more than 6 months so need to get my PCC from there. As I am not living in India anymore , asked one of my friends get the PCC . The PCC has been issued in Pune and it has been posted to Mumbai to be attested . Does anyone know if the notarized and attested PCC is enough or I need to get more stamps from any other authority in India.

Thanks for your advice
Nora
P.S I need present my PCC for Canadian Visa Officer in 30 days . Just want make sure my PCC is acceptable.

Dear

You should contact indian embassy/consulate office in your country and they will issue you in your country, they need your photo, official documents of your visit and proof regarding the place where you stayed. they have some fee. No need to contact or send any doc. to india....its not that difficult with Indian embassy in your country.

what you describe should be fine. But fo future refence, it probably would have been easier to apply through the nearest Indian Embassy, per CIC instructions.

Through the Embassy it's not difficult, but takes 3 months. And she needs it in 30 days.

Many thanks for all the replies.
unfortunatley I cannot wait three months that's the reason that I asked my friends. I got verything form Police of Pune and also Mumbai . Just wanted to make sure that's enough.
Any way appreciate your responses.

Good luck to everybody
