PCC from India and USA

Urgent clarification requested :

Myself and my spouse are Indian passport holders and we lived in USA for more than 5 years(long-term onsite assignment) ,but now settled back in India.
Planning to prepare for FSW 2014,and that would wish to know - if Police verification is required from both the countries(India and USA)?

Hope my children who are US Passport holders are minors(age between 2 and 5 yrs) and living with us at India now need not undergo Police Certificate from either of the countries

Please advice ASAP

Hi,

For any country you stayed in for over 6 months, you need to supply a PCC for principal applicant and all dependents on file.
Thankfully your children won't need one. Please check below:

For US, please check below. It does take 2 months, even while you are here. Happened to me!

For India, please apply through passport office. Way quicker.
