PCC from Dahisar, Mumbai

Hi, So I have applied for a PCC from Dahisar,Mumbai while living in Ottawa.

In the PCC application, I have provided my building's secretary to give verification on my behalf as my parents are out of town.

Its been 1 month but the application status in BLS still says 'Processing in High Commission' and the building secretary says no one from Dahisar Police Station has come to our apartment building for verification.

My question is:

1. If you have no criminal background, then does the Mumbai police clear you without the verification check.
2. I have tried to call the police station multiple times but the number goes to voicemail each time(28971654, 28284024) . If there another way to reach out to the police station that other folks have tried?

Any help is appreciated.

hi , yes we received out PCC from dhisar, turns out they did come to our building and did some verifications and then issued the PCC. I think there is some SMS service that you can also use to get notified by Mumbai Police
