PCC for USA

Hi,

I wanted to apply for getting PCC for my stay in USA. I am currently in India and have stayed there for 2 years between 2015 to 2017.

Could anyone help me with info on how to apply for PCC of USA and its expected timelines. Also, is there a way to expedite the process through some 3rd party agency as I saw some websites offering these services of getting PCC from USA.

Submit the request electronically via https://www.edo.cjis.gov and send your finger print document via post to mentioned address
you can get online report within 2 to 3 days once they get your finger print

I have gone through the guidelines but have 1 doubt. Could you please help me with below info also if possible.

I was on H1B visa in US and my wife was on a dependent H4 visa. My wife does not have SSN number but she had similar looking number called ITIN(individual Tax payer Identification number) issued to her that I used while submitting US taxes.
Could you please tell me if I can leave SSN as blank for my wife, as I think ITIN is not exactly equivalent to SSN.

I used ITIN for my spouse, use it. You can’t leave that field blank, instead use ITIN

Thanks again for your quick response. I am bit concerned about fingerprinting method to be followed in the form. I am in Gurgaon/Delhi region and I saw that a Fingerprinting agency is charging Rs 2500 for taking fingerprints professionally.

By any chance, do you know any professional agency who takes fingerprinting. Or, do you think that we could do fingerprinting ourselves.

My husband is not coming with me to canada. But my 5 year old kid will be. So, If my husband’s who is non accompanying me in immigration to canada gets his police clearance PCC not cleared as he had case on him earlier3 years back in USA. Which was then finished.
so can i get my own pcc cleared ? Or can i get PR visa for canada in such situation and can move to canada without him ? Does my pr visa depends on my husband PCC Or does ircc gives pr to people whose non accompanying husband doesnt have police clearance??
