PCC for PR application

Hi all,

I've been in Canada since 2009 as a high school student first, and graduated from uOttawa in 2016.

I'm 24 now, and had a question about whether I need PCC from my home country, Japan.

Since high school, every year, I go back to Japan during summer, or christmas, and months of continuous stay never exceeded 5 months.

Do I still need PCC from Japan?

Yes you will need it.

Although technically you haven't stayed for 6 months or more almost every case similar to you ended up having the PCC as a requirement. If you apply without it, the officer will send you a message requesting it and will provide you with a short time to come up with the PCC. If you couldn't make it the application will be rejected for being incomplete.
