Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I am able to apply for Inland spousal sponsorship without providing the PCC upfront. Can I provide the PCC after I apply? Will my application be returned if I don't submit the PCC up front?

I am sponsoring my wife and she has lived in 3 countries for over 6 months after the age of 18. I have the PCC from 2 of them but still waiting on 1 of them. Unfortunately, the time it will take to get PCC for the last country is around 1-2 months which we cannot wait for.

In theory, the PCC is needed when the primary applicant is being assessed for criminality/inadmissibility concerns, which is a latter stage of the process (you are assessed first, to be an eligible sponsor). You should include a note with the application explaining that the third PCC will be provided when she receives it.

Here's one of many older threads that discuss this:

You can apply without it and submit it either when they ask for it or by webform once you receive it. I didn't order mine until they asked for them, so it has slowed down the process. But if you've already ordered yours...you're good to go ahead.
