PCC @BLS - Canada , Toronto Office

Hi All,

I am applying for India PCC at @BLS - Canada , Toronto Office. On website its being mentioned.
Proof of work status in Canada: Valid PR Card or Work Permit or Study permit (This should be valid for at least 6 months).
Problem Statement:
1. My Work permit is going to expire in January. So it means Work permit is valid for next 4.5 months. Will BLS accept my application?
2. I have read few forums and found about differences in written and actual exceptions regarding application submission.
Police Clearance Application- 1 copy
Police Clearance Reference- 3 copies
Photos - 4
Indian Passport - Original + 1 photocopy
Work Permit - 1 Photocopy
Please confirm if my understanding is correct or there is other documents that i need to submit?

That sounds right... i am hoping you have put in your request already. I applied on Sept1 too. I am hoping to hear soon. Please could you update the forun when you receive it?

they will need your original work permit too, which they will attach with your passport and keep both with them

They just "compared" the photocopy and original.. and returned the original to me. How long did it take for you?

I have contacted Indian consulate and they replied me that clause of 6 month valid work permit is removed and you can submit application for pcc even if your are in implied status!!!!
