You can go PCC from commissioner office. That is faster and you can still use that for your case. Which state you are residing and is your passport issued from same state? How old is your passport?anujgupta84 said:

I strongly recommend you to visit commissioner office and clearly explain them that you need PCC for Canadian Immigration Purpose. I doubt the PCC you applied for may not be applicable for Immigration. I have gone through the website and downloaded and read the information. But the sample PCC says "This certificate is only valid for employment purpose".
