Payment Receipt and Translation Information - Help

1. I have one page translation (UAE 2001 travel). Do I need to include photocopy or Original translation? The instruction guide is misleading as it has two different things in two places.

2. I have a certified translator seal - so translator affidavit is not required, correct?

3. In the Payment receipt (Paid together for my family), should I attach the same receipt in each of our applications? And what is the 'Client ID' field in the application?

is this a stamp translation like entry/exit? or a document like marriage certificate etc... I would assume that certified translator seal would suffice BUT CIC has never mentioned that anywhere. So, if I were you, I would submit a translator affidavit with it as well (so that its notarized - a Commissioner of Oath can sign it as well) - in this case you are all covered. If your Translator is not in Canada or far away, your friend can translate it, fill up an affidavit (assuming he/she knows Arabic and English) and a Commissioner of Oath can testify that... does not cost too much....

You do not need to make mutiple copies for the same receipt. One is sufficient BUT mention all the CLient Ids. for all of your family members. Client Id. can be found on your Confirmation of PR (top right) or on the PR card. it is a 8 digit number in the format XXXX-XXXX. It does not hurt to mention all the names of the people in the end of the receipt as well.

Travel doc is one entry/exit in UAE. still not sure if I should attach the photocopy (mentioned in the middle of the guide) or the Original (mentioned in the last para of guide).
I went to a certified translator in Scarborough - he told me that affidavit not required.. so thought of checking.

if it is only an entry/exit stamp from you, you actually do not need to translate them because the dates and the country name are mentioned in English as well (for UAE stamps). This being said, I have translated mine (about 5-6 of them). Yes, you need to attach a photocopy of the translated material with the english translation. Ideally, when you give it to a translator, he/she will 'stamp' Appendix A for the photocopy and Appendix B for the translated one... (in your case, since you got a licensed translator) - it does not hurt to attach a photocopy of the stamps translated...
