Please help.

Hi! This is a work permit application.

I mistakenly clicked on “I am exempted to pay fees” having in mind that my WP is LMIA-exempt and my employer has paid for compliance fee. But after researching, I found out that the three are all different.

After 10 days upon application submission, I got ADR too for fee payment (since I wrote a webform why i have not received BIL) and immediately paid Bio and WP fee. IRCC acknowledged receipt and received BIL the next day.

My question is, do I have to write an LOE for selecting “I am exempted to pay fees” the document I submitted was the email from my employer paying the compliance fee with the Offer of Employment Number, which doesn’t make me fee exempt obviously. However, when I received my ADR, it was only stated that I have to pay fees and no mention of me providing proof that I am exempted from paying fees.

Will this cause great delay? My application has been in process for 3 months now. Bio and mEdical completed. Eligibility (8 weeks now) and Background (13 weeks now) are still in progress.

Please help!!!

No, you don't need to write an LOE.

Yes, you should expect this has delayed your application since your application was incomplete.

Yup I thought about that too. All I can do is to wait now. But anyway, I learnt so much along the way and still learning while this process is on going. Thank you for your reply!
