hi there, could anyone pls. advice me what to do to my application for cio. last march i pass my application for AOR to CIO and my papers was returned due to my credit card that time was on hold, now my sponsor from alberta will pay the processing fee using his credit card. He will just scan the fee payment form (IMM 5620E) with his signature and i will just print it.. my question is does the CIO will accept my payment as scaned but duly signed by the cardholder from alberta cause here in the philipppines its hard to find a cheque or bank draft using CAN dollars. mostly use is US dollars. tnx

Hi there. I doubt if CIO will accept your credit card authorization with just a scanned signature. Better to have it genuinely signed. You can inquire at BPI since they can process bank drafts in Cdn $. I'm sure other big banks can do that as well. It's really not that hard. You can also try Metrobank, BDO among others. Hope this helps.

The checklist say it must be original but one thing I can assure is that someone else other than you can pay on your behalf provided the card must be valid for at least nine months.

Cheers
