Paying University Fees

Hello

How to pay initial fees of $500 USD to American university from Pakistan. I have to pay $500 USD so that I can apply and get I-20 form but I don't know how to pay the fees, the university said that we accept bank check payable to university and i will send that bank check along with my application form via post but that is i think is Demand Draft, if anyone can help me to explain that is Pakistani normal bank check is valid outside Pakistan or not.

So please tell me that what should i do. I don't have credit card so that i can pay fees the only option i have to via bank but don't know that will the bank check works or the university is asking for demand draft. Please explain.

Demand draft in dollars will serve the purpose......

Can you tell me the process of demand draft in dollar dear? I have to pay amount in PKR for demand draft or i have to pay the amount in dollar?

Is check acceptable?

I think it can be done in following ways...but bank will confirm it.......

Either you have a dollar account in bank and you get a bank draft on it.

OR

You pay in Rs. and they make a bank draft for you in dollar payable to the said university.

In both cases a fee will be charged for the service.......

Go to nearest money changer. Bring your passport copy, ID card and the print out of email or web page where the fee mentioned in dollars and the address of the college. Bank also do the same service but I heard that the fees are higher than money changers.
