From CIC Website, I believe that there are two payments

1. Payment for Application for Permanent Residence (when applying to CIC, after you have obtained your CSQ)
2. Payment for Right of Permanent Residence

Can we pay both fee at the same time when forwarding our application to CIC.
Secondly, How efficient is online payment system as compared to conventional cheque / draft bank system.

Hi Kyle,

I have also used the online method and given both the Fees at the same time. It may save little time while processing the application.
The online payment system looks secure.

1. Yes you can pay both fees at same time and send out payment proof with application.
2. Super efficient and secured. Enter credit card details and click on Submit. Print out the receipt and send it with application.

Okay. One more query. Although I have posted it separately. Could you tell me that with online payment receipt, do still need to submit Form IMM5620 or receipt sufficiently serves the purpose.

Thanks

I only sent payment receipt and did not sent form IMM5620.

Anyone can confirm if it is okay to use someone else's credit card (not my and not my spouse or children) to pay for the application fee

Hi Kyle_Steve,

It's completely fine to use anyone's credit card.
I have already used my colleague's credit card. It's just for the payment purpose.
No one is going to cross check about the card details.
