I am an international student and I'm thinking of applying to University of Alberta. My uncle is willing to sponsor my education but we're confused about one thing. I'm living in South Africa and he lives in Alberta, Canada. He is a Canadian permanent Resident so he's wondering if he would be paying the domestic /international tuition fees.

Your uncle is not taking the course you are as the international student so international fees apply

What the other user said is right, the fees are based on the student's status. So itd be international student tuition
