My husband paid CIC fee online with his credit card for my visitor visa application. But on the CIC receipt, his name appeared automatically.

What should i write for the client DOB, client ID, address, etc.

Should i fill my husband's info or mine???? :'(

What I understand is that he paid for your application. Am I correct? Then you should put your information not his.

The information is for the person that paid the fees, not for the applicant. Due to all the confusion about it applicants had in the past, the name of the person paying the fees is printed and his DOB and address etc... goes on it.

To be honest I put both ie in the name section wrote in parenthesis the applicant's name as well and same with DOB. They probably just needed the payer's but some extra info wouldn't hurt :p

i paid for all the fees with my cc, and i put the name of the person who the fee was for. if it was for the sponsor, i put my husband's name. for the applicant and RPRF receipts, i put my own name. it doesn't matter. as long as one or the other is used, the receipt is not going to be rejected. i had absolutely NO issues with this, and received approval in less than 2 weeks after paying my last fee.

@rhcohen2014 Just want to ask something...I m a little bit confused about paying the fee for The Right of Permanent Residence (RPRF-490$).We have just paid the fee for sponsorship (550$). Can we pay the fee before they ask for it and send the receipt to them while the app is in process? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :) So at RPRF RECEIPT i should put my own name (i am the sponsored person) ?

yes, you can pay the fee before it's requested. send the receipt per the instructions on the sponsor eligibility letter for contacting your visa office. i put my name (the applicant's) info on the receipt. as long as the file number and uci number are on the form, i don't think it matters who's name is on the receipt.

1. on a separate piece of paper, write your name, file number, uci # (if you have one) and the name of your sponsor and uci#. tell them you are responding to the letter they sent via email and write down the names of the documents you have included. make sure to also include a copy of the request letter.

2. no it is not necessary, though you can if you would like.

yes, i'm sure that will work fine. if you have your uci (which probably would have been on the request form sent to the applicant), make sure to add it. you and your sponsor have separate uci#'s. your sponsor's uci # would have been on the sponsor eligibility letter. i would think it's more important that your uci number is listed.

yes,you are right!!! they sent my uci on the request form via email and i have a different uci from the sponsor... it's weird I haven't noticed it before  so i will list applicant: my name, file number and my uci and then sponsor: his uci....thank you so much,i was a little bit confused before talking with you ...I really appreciate your help :)
