Hello all,
I would highly appreciate if anyone could provide me some info regarding documentation under CEC. How many pay stubs would be enough ? 3 months or 6 months or i need more ? I guess i have 3,4 months of pay stubs with me, some of which are badly worn and torn. Can i submit my canadian bank statements for the entire last year in case i couldn't find older pay stubs ? I also have an 2014 NOA, would that be enough?
Thanks

Submit T4 statements, tax returns and NOAs
Bank statements will not do as they only reflect the amounts (net of taxes) that you were paid.

Thanks for the reply. I have T4, NOA, and recent 3, 4 months of pay stubs. My T4 and NOA are from 2014, where as most part of my one year experience was in 2015. I want to know how many pay stubs would be enough along with all of these documents. Should recent 3 months stubs are enough ? I have lost many of the older ones.

Yes 3 months should suffice. It will all be in your T4 anyway. Good luck with your application. :)

Hi there,

I only submitted T4, not NOA since my tax return was under revision at the time I submitted my PR application. Do you think this will make a problem? I also put pay stubs for 12 months.
Thanks!

Did Revenue Canada issue NOA for the same position that you filed your Tax Return (ie Tax Return you filed had the same refund, liability, or nil tax position as NOA?)

If yes then nothing to be concerned. If no, and you filed your application, draft a LOE advising the discrepancy and submit a Case Specific Inquiry.

If you have questions please let me know.

Hi JoacRy,

I got my NOA and than asked for tax return revision so my immigration lawyer suggested to submit T4 only, since NOA was not issued yet. I applied as FSW inland, not CEC. Yes, T4 is for the same position as NOA, that is actually the only job I had here in CA.
Thanks!

In that case it's fine. Bear in mind though that during the Immigration Assessment process CIC reserves the right to talk to any other government department and if they talk to Revenue Canada they may tell CIC that you as the Taxpayer requested a Revision of your Tax Return. As long as the gross amount on the T4, the net amount and the taxes paid are the same on the Tax return revision copy as they were on the Tax Return original copy you will be fine.

Thanks JoacRy for such a detailed explanation. I started working at this position in may 2014 as part time coz i wad a full time student then. After graduating in August, i started working full time. I got my PGWP in oct 2015. So my T4 for 2014 has only little less than half the amount that i made in one year on this job. As i don't half the T4 for current year, would it be enough if i only submit 2014 T4, NOA and recent 3 months pay stubs. This is the only job i have worked till now in Canada. So no other T4s. Sorry for asking too many things, i am just little ignorant on this issue.

You say you only got your PGWP in oct 2015. If that is the case what 'Working' status did you have after you graduated in May 2014 and started working until October 2015 when you got your PGWP? Remember you must have been legally working in order for your work experience to count for CRS points and also for CEC points.
