I am writing to explain the medical condition of my brother, who has a mental disability. He is physically fit but suffers from severe cognitive impairments. Despite being an adult, he exhibits childlike behavior, has difficulty in communication, and often becomes aggressive. He cannot travel alone or stay without close family members.

We have consulted multiple doctors in our home country, and they have advised that specialized treatment and therapy could help improve his condition. However, due to limited facilities and specialized care for such patients in our country, we wish to seek advanced medical treatment in Canada.

Reasons for Seeking Treatment in Canada:
1. Access to Specialized Medical Care – Canada has world-class medical facilities and mental health programs that could significantly improve my brother’s condition.
2. Advanced Therapy Options – We believe he can benefit from therapies that are not available in our country, including behavioral therapy, neurological treatments, and rehabilitation programs.
3. Expert Diagnosis & Long-term Care Plans – Canadian medical professionals may provide better insights into his condition and offer long-term care solutions.

Support and Financial Responsibility:
• Our family is fully prepared to bear all medical and living expenses during the treatment.
• He will always be accompanied by a family member to ensure his safety and well-being.
• We are ready to comply with any medical or visa-related requirements for his treatment.

We kindly request your consideration for his medical treatment in Canada. If any further information or documents are required, we are willing to provide them.

This is not a government site so not sure who you are addressing it to. Assume you have arranged and costed out all the medical care he needs and have doctors in Canada willing to care for him. Most Canadians cannot get care so why would your brother jump the queue. He would need a family doctor first to be referred to specialists. In Ontario, 25% don’t have a family doctor so your brother is not going to get one. What world class facility does he have admittance to? Same for mental health.

Canadians are on waiting lists for therapies to so where is he getting this therapy ahead of Canadians.

Your concern is absolutely valid. We do not want to take anyone else’s place or deprive someone of their right to healthcare. We fully understand that Canada’s healthcare system is already under pressure, and even Canadian citizens sometimes struggle to receive timely treatment.

Our goal is simply to explore whether there is a private medical facility or doctor in Canada who is willing to provide treatment for my brother, given that we are ready to cover all medical expenses ourselves.

We have already tried to seek treatment in Pakistan, but specialized care for his condition is very limited. If there is any private hospital or specialist in Canada who can accept him as a patient, we would like to proceed through the proper channels.

What private facilities? Canada is a public system. You need to find out what hospital in Canada will even see him. He doesn’t need to come to Canada until you have arranged and paid for the care. Then apply for TRV. Best to go to the US with private care as you will not find it in Canada. You have done no research on the Canadian system nor contacted anyone so you are making many broad statements about Canadian health care.

To get a TRV he needs to show his own funds, travel history and ties to return. Not you or your family.

Yes i am also thinking about US as US have the best best and advanced healthcare system

If the USA has the best and most advanced healthcare system then your posting about wanting to come to Canada is irrelevant

And even if possible your chances of getting a visa is slim to none . If they got here , and that’s an if , you could basically refuse to pay .

And as mentioned paying isn’t going to allow you to jump the que ahead of people already waiting .

Example : I wanted to get a procedure done in Ontario. I CANNOT pay for it if I have a healthcare card . That would mean I’m jumping ahead of others that don’t have the means to pay

So I went across the border to Buffalo which is private

As others have said, this is not a government web site and no one here can help you get a visa.

If you want to get a visa on medical grounds, the first step is to find a hospital that is willing to take him on as a patient and to make few arrangements with that hospital. Once you have done this and have evidence to show it, you would then apply for a TRV for your brother and whoever plans to travel with him. You will need to show a bank balance that proves you have the funds to pay for both the trip and his care in Canada. For both people, you will need to also show evidence of ties to your home country to demonstrate you have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

However again, the first step is to find a hospital in Canada willing to accept him as a patient.

Would add that if he has autism or has a condition associated with cognitive impairment there is typically no treatment especially fast ones or ones that require hospitalization. Most of the treatment is an attempt to approve communication through tools or minimize aggressive behaviour often with medication. This would likely be longterm therapy through repetition and is tough to access especially as an adult. Also no guarantees that there will be any improvement.
