Past Work permit and future visit visa for Canada

Hi. What to take care of when one had a work permit for Canada in past and wants to apply for visit visa , that is once work permit expires and one is already outside Canada

Any one had the similar situation?
how not to get visit visa application rejected in this case

You show documentation like anyone - ties to return to home country, funds, travel history and valid reasons to travel. If you didn’t overstay and abided by immigration laws then it may not be a problem.
