You're right. I saw from other thread that few people
took them 39 days before they received their passports.
Let us not expect till next week...

Hi,
Mine would probably take weeks as my original VO is Manila. I sent our PPs in Ottawa because we are currently residing here in Alberta.
I am thinking if Manila VO will transfer my file to Ottawa during Visa stamping, so I think mine will take a little longer, but I am wishing not too long as I have already applied for my baby's Maple Passport. I will bring him with us in the border for our exit and PR Landing.

We probably don't want to believe it but it's true.
Look at this thread below:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/waiting-for-passport-please-add-your-case-here-t151428.585.html

But this was happened a year ago when majority of the PAFSO members are on 6 months strike.
This will not probably happen to us.

Hey calm down, just relax! take it easy... I know how you fell but as I have said
there is nothing that we can do but to wait. Don't stress out yourself. I think
it is not just the right time for us but it will come, we'll just have to be more patience at this time.
At least we are now on the stage of becoming a Permanent Resident!

So Cheers!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Guy's i know this may sound paranoid but is there a chance or have you heard or read about someone who got PPR and still got his/her PR application rejected??

hi Ethan,
I dont think there is. CIC usually reject apps during Completeness Check in CIO-Sydney or after MR if medically inadmissible. Hope somebody more Senior than I can comment on this.

Please refer this:
Decision on your application
The CIC officer will make a decision on your application based on:

whether you meet the eligibility criteria for the program,
whether you have the funds to support yourself and your family when you arrive in Canada,
the results of your medical exam, and
the information on your police certificate.
The office that processes your application will contact you if you need to send more documents or go to an interview.

If your application is approved, we will ask you to send your passport to the visa office so we can issue your permanent resident visa.
