Passports for permanent residence

Hi,

I have received an email from them to send in our passports. Me and my wife are Indian citizens and my two daughters are US citizens by birth and have a US Passport.

They have mentioned in the email that if you are an Indian citizen then you have to send the original passport but if you are an American Citizen then you have send in a photocopy.

I am confused if I should be sending all our passports or sending just ours and a photocopy for the kids

US is visa exempt so the photocopies are sufficient.

As India is not visa exempt you are required to send your passports.
