What application did you send? If you were born in Canada or became a naturalized Canadian before the child was born, he is a Canadian citizen and you need to apply for his Certificate of Citizenship.
Our agent did apply for proof of citizen ship and we sent it to Delhi but now we got the letter for passports and we haven't heard anything about our son. If you included your child as a dependent in your wife's PR app, that was a big mistake. He is a Canadian citizen and cannot become a PR.

You can book an Air Ticket whenever you're planning to return to Canada and apply for a Limited Validity Canadian passport if your child's Proof Of Citizenship is still processing. You need booked Air Ticket to apply for Limited Validity Passport. With that passport your child can move back to Canada with you.
