Can anyone please tell me, when applications are submitted after ITA and everything goes fine, when exactly do they ask for passport?

How much time do they give for the passport submission?

Also, how much time do they need to process passport?

passport request is the final stage in the PR process.
Once your application is approved, they request for your passport and it has to reach them with in 30 days.

your PR visa, which is a single entry visa is stamped on your passport and is returned to your address.
The visa issued for you will be valid till your medicals are valid and you must land in Canada before the date mentioned on the Visa
The processing times vary depending on the visa office you are sending your passport to.
In Canada i.e., Ottawa the processing times are about 15 days.
