Passport validity

Friends,

I am travelling to Canada for my first entry as permanent resident in the month of June 10. I will stay there for 2 weeks and return temporarily. My passport expires in mid December this year.

Is there a 6 months minimum passport validity period for entering Canada? I will be short by 4 days while exiting Canada as per my current travel plans?

No, for "landing" your passport only has to valid for 1 day after date of "landing"
