Passport Validity-When PPR requested.(within 6 months is good or should be more)

Hello everyone,

I paid my rprf on 29th April and waiting for my PPR but my passport expires on 14th Dec 2016, will there be any issue if my passport validity is less than 6 months at the time of stamping.Because after June 13th my passport validity will be under 6 months.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i had the same issues, was advised to get a new passport and raise a CSE immediately, when ur passport is requested , send both. but make sure u raise a cSE asap.

I just spoke with CIC call center and the lady was so nice and she took time to get the information and informed that the only thing matters is that you should have a valid passport and it doesn't matter if its under 6 months.
