I recently submitted a family application through the PNP Portal, but I have a concern about my daughter's passport. Her passport is set to expire on October 8, and the application was submitted on March 3. However, I have not yet received an AOR.
We live far away from the only embassy of our country, which is in Ottawa. However, a Consul will be arriving in our province in April, and we are confident that we can obtain a new passport by the end of June.
My question is, could this situation affect our application if we receive the AOR after her passport has less than 6 months left until it expires? And if the authorities request a new passport to complete the application, can we explain the situation and ask that the application continue processing?
I would appreciate any opinions or experiences you may have on this matter.
