Dear all

I am a Bangladeshi have applied for canadian PR and is under processing while my passport validity is going expired by oct'2010. I went to the regional passport office for extension and they said that they can extend it for one year only for the recently introducing MRP(Machine Readable Passports}. Is it enough for me to get the PR visa while in process?

Hi there,

Its always better to have alonger visa validity as in case the process time is exceeded for visa processing then your time to land will be earlier of visa expiry or passport expiry so be very careful
