My malaysian passport is expiring on Sept 27 2019 and my aor is Feb 25. Currently I'm staying in Canada as visitor and passport renewal would take 3 months for me. From what I read from CIC website, it states:
Expiring passports
If your passport expires within 6 months from the day you apply, you should renew it. Then, update your new passport information in your application. This will ensure it is valid when we process your application.
Since my passport is expiring in 7 months from the date of my aor, I thought it would be fine until I heard someone's application was refused because of passport validity (7.5 months from the date of aor). What should I do? I'm so stressed out now. Please kindly advise.
