Passport validation for Canadian study permit

Hi,
I received an original passport request for the study permit starting in January 2020. It says that my passport should be valid for the duration of my expected stay in Canada. Unfortunately, my PP will expire on 01 June 2020. Will it be a problem? Please let me know

Shouldn't be a problem but your visa & sp might be limited to that time and you will need to do a renewal before they expire.
