As I read from several posts that it takes several weeks for them to send the passports back. Please if any one has any idea of a quicker way let me knwo. I can also provide proof of my frequant travel if needed. Please reply if you have any information. Thanks in advance.[flash=200,200][/flash]

Hi
Try and find out if your visa office do walk in passport stamping.
Some CHC does and it will save you all the stress due to the nature of your work.
Good luck

I am in the same situation. I sent passports to CHC, New Delhi almost 6 weeks back, requesting them to return these at the earliest due to my job requirement. Of course proof of frequent travel is in the passport only. But it seems, due to the volume of the work they are not able to accede to such requests. And maybe they complete background check only after receiving our original passports. No option but to wait patiently and hope our employers also have enough patience!!!

one way could be which worked for a friend of mine who lives in US....He had applied from new Delhi....Along with the passports he wrote a cover letter explaining the situation....they considered his request and in about 15 days they returned the passport....his wife who was the primary applicant got the Passport by hand from the high comission...

Yes, this could work. Problem is, the principal applicant has to be in Delhi (or elsewhere where CHC responsible for stamping passports is located) till passports are stamped. If one is lucky one may get passports back fast or.................

Thanks all for your replies it helps, since my spouse is the principal applicant does that mean he can take the passports in person along with a cover letter and hopefuly they consider at least stamping my passport faster?

Did any one get their passports stamped in person through the CHC in London? Please advise

Would you please inform us when you did receive you PPR? and your timeline?
You can submit your passport(s) to CHC London each Thursday in person and your visas will be ready two weeks later.

Hi Paniz;

I haven't received the PPR as of yet, I've been TOLD THEY DON'T ANTICIPATE REQUESTING OUR PASSPORTS TILL DEC/JAN, but I'm just trying to collate all the information I can till then.
