Passport Stamping at the Detroit Consulate

Friends - I just received my Passport request from Detroit consulate and am planning to get the stamping done in person.

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the detroit consulate provides same day service for visa stamping. My letter from the consulate states that if you deliver your passport in person, the passport will be ready for pickup in ten business days. I was hoping to make a quick trip to Detroit if the processing is done the same day.

Also, do you guys know what the processing time is for passports submitted via mail?

I beleive YOu can,,

For Visitor same-day service (Visitor Visas):

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Note - Any visa application received after 11:00 a.m. will be processed as a mail-in application (up to 10 working days Normal Processing Time).

I Know it says for visitor visas but they said the same thing for buffalo office also and everyone knows that it could be done in buffalo for p.r in person,
so i really think they would just to confirm you can even call detroit on this number Tel. : 313-567-2085
