Passport Sent

Help, is it okey if I sent my Passport to the Canadian Embassy in Manila? im applying for a Live-in Caregiver Program. The embassy when I called told me to send my ORIGINAL passport, I reiterated her request and she definitely said to pass the ORIGINAL. Ive inquired about my other friends who applied and they told me they only sent xerox copy of their passport..please help..enlighten me. :'( Thanks!

hi,may i ask from where you are?
my sister applied before as a caregiver and she is in canada last year,if the embassy requested for your original passport maybe your visa application is already approved.

Passport Sent: June 3, 2013

now i am so worried because i've heard it's gonna be a week only and they will mail back you passport. My visa here in Singapore will expire very soon, how can i go back home? anybody has the same experience with me?
