Passport send request...what to do, how to do, and what cost?

Hi guys,

I really love these forums. They are a wealth of information.

Question for everyone:

The tourist visa online application (CIC site) we submitted is in progress.
They have asked for us to send the passport to the office for further processing - I'm guessing this means we are close to an approval.

We know the address to send it to (i.e. London).

It really confusing us as to what money/fees to pay now.
The schedule of payments on the VFS site is confusing us.
What fees should we submit when we sent the passport to VFS?

We plan to courier the passport with the necessary cic letter request to London.

We think we should pay this fee...but is are there any other fees to pay? Also, do we need to submit a prepaid courier envelope so that they can send the passport back?

Secure transmission of passport to the Embassy of Canada in London, upon request by visa office (for example, electronic application)

It's really not clear

Any help on the above is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm planning to visit Vancouver during Easter and I also applied for a visitor visa online just before Christmas and received a notification requesting me to submit my passport to VAC in London. I've been looking at VFS website and I'm also a bit confuse in terms of fees. I came across your post and seems very relevant. How did you go about sending your passport? What's the best way? And what fee did you pay?
