Hello are there any specific requirements for the passport scan pdf? Like the resolution ? I know each file needs to be 4 MB. Once I compress the merged pdf file it has white space around -will that be an issue?

nope for all questions - make sure it is legible is all.

At least 90 dpi for each document. And make sure its readable.
