Hey guys,

My husband got his PPR May 7, and we mailed the passport to the mexico city embassy right away, they received it MAY 9.

in our PPR it says to give them 1-2 weeks to return the passport/visa.
its been over 2 weeks now and still haven't received it back, we have been checking ecase and the DHL tracking number everyday but nothing.
Usually mexico is really good at getting the passport back before 2 weeks.

Has this happened to anyone before? the Passport return takes longer than usual?
Or why there might be a delay?

Thanks
:)

have you gotten your passport back? cuz me and another friend sent our documents/passports applying for a work permit almost 2 months ago and they haven't returned anything.. we have called and sent enquiries but they keep saying our applications are still in process.. even tho they were supposed to get back to us 3 weeks after we applied. something is going on in the Visa Office, i guess.
