Passport Return Process

Good morning everyone,

My wife just received her approval, we are getting her passport sent back to us with the visa. We are using DHL, and when we contacted the DHL they said we need a 10 digit code for to get it. Does CIC send this code to us via e-mail or website contact? DHL won't check unless we have the 10 digit code. Thanks everyone, and hope is going well your way. Has anyone else used DHL?

Hi Azurego!

The code they are talking about is the airway bill 10 digit code that the prepaid envelope you sent the VO along with your passport should have. You should have paid for the two envelopes on the spot. DHL should have given you a copy of it and you can track the pckge on your own on their website.

You should have it on your dhl receipt but for my part, i emailed cic when i knew it was about to be mailed back and they did email me back with the tracking number, however we sent ours through the Canadian Visa Application Center (vac)
So cic sent us the vac tracking number...
