Hello,

I have applied for a Statup Visa. I live in Costa Rica and I have received a Passport Request. Since I don't live in Canada, they sent me another email titled "Ready for Visa (Mexico)". I imagine the centre in charge of processing visas for Costa Rica is Mexico.

They told me to send my passport, some photos, a prepaid airway bill, and other details to them via courier. But they do not provide an address for me to send such documents to. I have messaged them back but they have not replied.

At the footer of the email I see a simple line "Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193, Colonia Granada, Del. Miguel Hidalgo, 11520, Mexico D.F. Mexico" - which appears to be an address. However, they are not explicit and I don't know if that's the address I need.

Besides, I visited http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/mexico-mexique/contact-contactez.aspx?lang=eng and the address they have is different than the one above, so... It is even more confusing.

What do I do?

Are there not any attachments in that email?

It's quite strange though. I would advice you use CSE to ask them about this issue. And also contact your country's embassy via email and inform them of this issue.

I've used CSE two days ago and I'm now waiting for a response.

When you had to do this, where did you send your passport? Was the address in the email?

That appears to be the legitimate address of the visa section of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico.
