I just received passport request for me in my family, but there is something that I am not sure about....

On the subject (it is an email) says: "(5) Request for Passports/RPRF"

I guess I have to assume that they are requesting 5 passports; now, in my family we are 5 but my youngest child is a Canadian Citizen, he was on the application because he is part of my family but obviously he was not applying for permanent residence.

What I will do is send a copy of his passport and a letter explaining why I am not sending his, which by the way will be expired at the end of the month but I will renew it soon to be able to go to States and back to Canada to do the landing. I guess the only reason they could be asking for his passport is that they want to make sure he will be able to enter Canada with us when we do the landing.

What do you guys think?

Kind Regards

Sal

1. You shouldn't have included him in the application as he is a citizen.
2. Send 4 passports with a note and a copy of his passport.

very rightly said...Also include a copy of his birth certificate although it is not required if u r sending copy of passport but just to be on safer side..
