Passport Request

Hi All,

I just got passport request today and my passport is gonna expire on the 1st of june . But on the letter it says passport should be valid for at least 6 months. But my passport is valid for only 5 and half months. So can anyone advise me what should i do? Because, holidays are coming so if i send my passport for the renew thing would take some time and i need to submit the passport within 30 days.

I would advised you to send email and ask your visa office if you could send passport or need to be renewed.But mentioned the expiry date of your passport.If you want to send email just write urgent in subject filed.This is what my friend did and they replied him and asked him to submit.Even he has 5 months and 10 days left to expired.

The email i got from cic for the passport request says OTTAWA but according to me visa office is Toronto, because i live in Hamilton, Ontario. May you please check that thing for me

Yes you should include or you can include in the body of letter like EE application number,UCI first name and last name DOB and also attached your PPR letter.

Hey Rabinji. I have renewed my passport today. I need to know do i have to send only new passport to the immigration in respond of PPR request or the old one as well? would be appreciated if you will reply soon. please and thank u.

No need to send invalid/expired passports to CIC. Try to avoid confusion and please send the new one only.
