Hello, I am an American Citizen, applied for Canadian PR, and was received March 22, 2017. We are in the tail end of our application getting a DM. I have been hearing so much about CIC requesting Passports. Recently, I was at Prescott POE, and asked the CBSA about this and he said that U.S. Citizens won't be asked to submit passports because they don't physically stamp them anymore....is this true? I've been waiting for a request for passport but am not sure I'll be asked now. Please shed any light on this subject if you can. Cheers and good luck everyone!!!
